I was little john in a performance of Robby Nudd (Robin Hood..) yesterday, a 40 minute pantomime which is quite fun considering it's a pantomime. We had a few songs, a few dances (to shania twain). But the part that i enjoyed most, and which has encouraged me to write in this godforsaken place, is where we performed, which was at a muddy festival for the women chainmakers of Cradley Heath. I expected a tent that had a stage and little else, but this was a huge tent with stalls for various charities and local creative businesses, and the stage was tiny, the audience noisy and the acoustics awful.
