I was little john in a performance of Robby Nudd (Robin Hood..) yesterday, a 40 minute pantomime which is quite fun considering it's a pantomime. We had a few songs, a few dances (to shania twain). But the part that i enjoyed most, and which has encouraged me to write in this godforsaken place, is where we performed, which was at a muddy festival for the women chainmakers of Cradley Heath. I expected a tent that had a stage and little else, but this was a huge tent with stalls for various charities and local creative businesses, and the stage was tiny, the audience noisy and the acoustics awful. So we performed in front of the stage, on the g
